John Clymer is a STEM educator with over 25 years of experience in mathematics, computer science, physics, and engineering. John has completed graduate work in Mathematics from the University of Colorado in Boulder and has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Hawaii. He has a breadth of experience, teaching six different AP courses spanning Calculus, Physics, and Computer Science. Due to his insatiable appetite for learning, he loves to teach new classes and make new connections across disciplines. His experience and passion give him a unique interdisciplinary perspective. In addition to teaching, John has served as a national trainer for engineering education and, during his time in Hawaii, helped increase student achievement in mathematics as a consultant to math teachers. John is passionate about the content he teaches, but even more passionate about seeing students succeed.
