Amanda Dobeck

For the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching both History and Spanish at all levels, working in a traditional brick-and-mortar school in Washington State as well as with the district’s homeschool program. I pride myself on creating a classroom environment that invites everyone to participate and find success.
I have undergraduate degrees in Spanish and History, and a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington. I recently went back to school and earned a Master’s in History from Liberty University (online, of course!). I am a National Board Certified teacher and have also served as an AP Grader, as well as on test preparation boards for the College Board, ETS, and National Boards.
Outside the classroom, my husband and I love to travel—it’s one of the many ways I stay curious and connected to the world, and it continually inspires my work as an educator.
