Alicia Loran

Teaching has always been at the heart of who I am. I have been teaching in various forms for 20 years – from public school, homeschooling my own children, homeschool co-ops, online tutoring, and local homeschool outsources in my area. I have two sons who have graduated from homeschool. My oldest has finished college and my youngest is currently starting his sophomore year. I attended Texas A & M University and graduated with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading in 1996 and then went to work in the public schools. I have a soft spot for any student that learns differently than others.  I feel like by working together as a team, we can build confident students, lifelong learners, and critical thinkers. I will ALWAYS meet you and them where they are.  If there is anything I can do in my classroom to help them be successful, please let me know.

When I am not teaching, you can find me at my home in the country playing with my chickens and dogs. I love to be outdoors having fun – running, paddle boarding, or just about anything that sounds fun!
