We have already learned so much on many different topics such as greetings, days of the week, telling time, months, numbers, schools supplies, introducing yourself etc. I very surprised by how much I already learned. I think the classes greatest benefit is helping me learn French and how to actually speak it and use it. Our time in class with games and speaking is really beneficial for me as well.

The variety of class drills & homework assignments are at a perfect rigor for my son. I’m very pleased. Madame Newman’s teaching approach combines her deep knowledge of French with engaging & guiding the students through the work. She is super responsive too! Merçi Madame Newman!

I find Madame Newman to be a very good teach and an excellent communicator. I feel that Charlotte is learning quickly and has the confidence to try to use what she’s learned here at home. She has excellent communication with the student and parents.

The teacher is warm and welcoming and the class is very engaging. The variety of materials used (videos, audio files, different types of games, workbook, etc. ) is wonderful and the different types of assignments make the class very fun and effective.

The course is very organized, robust, fun with a lot of learning games, a good amount of practice speaking and listening in class, the course moves very fast. An organized and systematic approach to beginning French, the teacher is encouraging and assigns fun projects/review games, practice speaking on the live course, the course is great for students learning executive functioning skills like project and assignment deadlines,

Madame Newman makes the class engaging through fun games and interesting slides. Madame Newman encourages everyone to participate in class, benefitting the whole class. We get to learn how to pronounce the French words correctly through participation. Madame Newman also has a kind and encouraging spirit throughout all of class. I really love how the class operates and am very thankful for all Madame Newman’s hard work!

This class is going more in-depth than I have seen French 1 classes go for public school friends of ours. I appreciate the interactive work that my student gets to do for this class. That seems helpful for learning a language. My student has wavered over the years on which language she wanted to concentrate on (French, Spanish German, etc), and she is enjoying this class very much and so happy she chose French! Thank you for encouraging her love and understanding of this subject!

I have taken a bit of French before, so I expected a lot of review, but I have actually learned so much more than I expected! Ms. Newman adds a lot of extra resources for extra practice, which are really helpful if you don’t understand the topic.

The class is intentional with high expectations. It offers my child the accountability and learning opportunities not available in my area. I appreciate the conversational skills being developed as well as the accountability this class provides. Thank you for the clear communication and grace given with homeschooling families. I feel this course does a good job of supporting the child while maintaining grace. I appreciate how AIM sees its students as a whole person, not just an academic cog in the educational system to turn out facts and figures.
