My son enjoys the readings and discussions. He is a STEM kid and has historically been less than enthusiastic about english classes, so this is really impressive. I think he is learning to analyze readings, complete all kinds of writing assignments, but also I think the readings are moving him forward in social and emotional learning. The teacher makes the class engaging, is a good moderator for student discussion, and chooses assignments that are engaging for this age group.

I have learned how to think more critically and logically, and using more evidence in my arguments rather than only using opinion. Our review activities during the live class is my favorite thing, it is simply a well-organized way to engage everyone and it’s fun too!

The teacher’s curriculum is thoughtfully created to enrich the experience, yet not overwhelm the students. This allows my daughter to dig deep. Interactive. Her in person time is interactive; she targets specific areas for growth. he stories and selected essays are fantastic finds that allow for exploration and discussion. Engagement. The teacher gives timely advice and understands where each kid needs the most support. College board. She has done a great job connecting the CB content to help them prepare.
