William Phifer

Bill Phifer is a happily married math teacher from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with four adult children. He has taught math for over 20 years, teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, AP Statistics, and CIHS Calculus. He lives by the motto, “Work first, then play,” which he has instilled in his children and has tried to encourage in his students. Building relationships is a key part of his teaching, and he hopes that will continue at AIM Academy. He is a dog lover who enjoys the outdoors. He plays tennis, golf, and disc golf and enjoys hiking on trails with his wife, Nancy. He is currently learning to sail!
